When you are adding fields to a TimeToSignUp registration form, you have the option of determining which type of field will be entered. For the system to recognize that it should send a confirmation email, you must specify that your field is an email address.
When creating your registration from, select "email field" from the drop-down list for email fields so that the system knows to interpret the data entered as an email address and therefore will send the confirmation email.
To change from text fields to email addresses in existing registration forms:
- Log in as the admin
- Go to the form
- In the "Registration Form Administrator Options" dropdown menu, select "Add & Edit Fields"
- Find your email field, and click the blue "edit" button
- Select "Email Address" from the Field Type dropdown
